Woolley recently announced the release of his latest artwork, “Legends of American Hairdressing.” This eye-catching piece, which follows the success of his 2022 “Legends of British Hairdressing” series, celebrates over 200 of the most influential hairstylists shaping the U.S. beauty industry today.
With this exclusive art print, Woolley features well-known industry figures such as Jack Howard, Michelle O’Connor, Sam Villa, Antoinette Beenders, Robert Lobetta, Tabatha Coffey, Candy Shaw, Vivienne Mackinder, John Paul DeJoria, Van Council, and many others. His artwork serves as a tribute to U.S. hairdressing icons who have made significant contributions to the evolution of modern hairdressing. Each industry pro has been meticulously curated and immortalized, highlighting the skill, passion, and artistry that define the vibrant hair industry.
To celebrate the release, the art print made its debut at a launch event in New York back in September. Another upcoming celebration will be hosted at Soho House in Los Angeles on November 13th. Throughout the year, hair pros will be able to see the print live and in person as it will be showcased at key industry events.
Additionally, Woolley will be auctioning the original framed artwork, with proceeds benefiting Centrepoint, a U.K. charity dedicated to supporting homeless youth, particularly those aspiring to careers in hairstyling and the culinary arts.
