The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards was a much more intimate affair than years past thanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. A handful of our favorite celebrities including Big Sean, Julia Micheals, Miranda Lambert, and Megan Thee Stallion came together to attend the socially distanced event — donning their most stylish masks, of course.
Our host for music’s biggest night was the ever-so witty Trevor Noah who carried out his duties from an outdoor stage just a stone throw away from the Staples Center. There were so many highlights from the show —one being Beyoncé’s history-making 28th Grammy win which made her the most-decorated female artist of all-time (Bow down to the Queen!).
But besides the major wins and dazzling performances ( Dua Lipa! Cardi B! Harry Styles! Megan Thee Stallion!), there were so many spectacular hair moments. Attendees and their glam teams brought their A-game to the red carpet debuting an array of unforgettable hairstyles, from waist-grazing locks to intricate updos.
See all of our favorite hairstyles from the 2021 Grammy Awards below!
Phoebe Bridgers
Phoebe Bridgers brought a high fashion twist to her signature skeleton look with her edgy Thom Browne skeleton gown. Her softly curled silver tresses perfectly complement this goth-glam ensemble.
Jhene Aiko
Jhene Aiko radiated goddess energy rocking box braids with curly undone ends and swirled baby hairs styled by her hairstylist Michelle Richardson.
Beyoncé
For her record-making night, Queen Bey proved that when it comes to hair, the bigger, the better. The star entrusted hair artist Nakia Collins to transform her signature honey-blonde locks into these gorgeous brushed-out voluminous curls.
Chika
Hair artist Fesa Nuza created this stunning African-inspired sculptural updo for Chika and we are beyond obsessed!
Haim
The Haim sisters gave off major cool-girl vibes with their sleek stands and blunt, “disconnected” bangs that were reminiscent of Prada’s SS21 runway show. The trio’s look came courtesy of hairstylist Bryce Scarlett.
Maren Morris
For Grammy’s night, country singer Maren Morris rocked soft and subtle blonde waves with a root shadow. To create this look, her hairstylist Marwa Bashir relied on R + Co hair products as well as GHD hair tools.
H.E.R.
H.E.R. gave Rapunzel a run for her money with the wavy waist-grazing locks that she graced the red carpet with. We think her hairstylist Nina Monique totally killed this look!
Noah Cyrus
Noah Cyrus slayed the red carpet sporting face-framing tendrils and a top knot styled by hairstylist Jay Nixon.
Chloe Bailey
Chloe Bailey looked regal as ever rocking a half-up bantu-knot style that played up her natural curls. To create this fierce look, Bailey enlisted hairstylist Tinisha Meeks.
Halle Bailey
Halle Bailey’s hair may have been covered, but she still looked fabulous for music’s biggest night! We love how her hairstylist Tiffanne Williams styled this gold and black headscarf over her locks to match her Louis Vuitton ensemble.
Cardi B
Cardi B’s bubblegum-pink pixie had our FULL attention during her “WAP” and “UP” performances. Her hairstylist Tokyo Stylez created this fierce look by using Joico products to color her pre-cut wig and Dyson hair tools to style.
Megan Thee Stallion
Best New Artist winner Megan Thee Stallion gave off major prom queen vibes with her curly ‘90s updo and face-framing tendrils styled by her longtime hairstylist Kellon Deryck.
Mickey Guyton
Country singer Mickey Guyton looked super chic with her tousled bob styled by hairstylist Samuel Rodriguez.
Dua Lipa
Best Pop Vocal Album winner Dua Lipa paid homage to Cher with her long silky-smooth strands styled by Chris Appleton.
Doja Cat
For Doja Cat’s red carpet look, it was all about the baby bangs and shaggy mullet. Colorist Jessica Jewel used Joico products to achieve this jet-black shades and hairstylist JStayReady styled her strands using Dyson hair tools.
When it came to her Doja’s performance look, JStayReady used Joico products to achieve this burgundy sky-high ponytail.
Lizzo
Lizzo kept it cute on the red carpet rocking a middle part and sleek strands styled by her hairstylist Shelby Swain.
For her second look of the night, Swain dressed up her locks with sparkly oversized barrettes from the Slauson Super Mall.
Taylor Swift
Album of the Year winner Taylor Swift brought major flower power to the red carpet. We think that this romantic braided bun created by hairstylist Jemma Muradian perfectly complemented her feminine look!
