Beloved professional beauty retailer Sally Beauty is jumpstarting the NYC Pride celebrations with a series of events happening at the end of June.
Their free Pride Parties will take place across New York City from June 27th to June 29th in iconic Sally Beauty locations in Manhattan like Chelsea and The Seaport. The celebrations are part of their Rooted in Success event series and are an effort to foster community building and encourage self-expression.
So what can attendees expect to experience at these free pop-ups? By signing up for Sally Rewards customers will have the opportunity to leave the events with up to $500 dollars in giveaways from fan-favorite brands like XMONDO, Eva NYC, Sally Hansen, Got2B, ion, and Strawberry Leopard while supplies last.
Additionally, event goers will have the chance to meet pillars in the beauty and drag industry. XMONDO founder and professional hairstylist Brad Mondo will come by the shops from 1 to 2 p.m. ET and beloved RuPaul’s Drag Race series alums Joey Jay and Jackie Cox will perform at 6 p.m. at The Seaport location.
By offering attendees a chance to win gift cards and products, Sally Beauty wants the LGBTQIA+ community to come by and prepare for the celebration by getting ready to feel their best and look their best.
