Garren, celebrity hairstylist and co-founder of R+Co and R+Co BLEU used R+Co BLEU products to create the hair looks for the Anna Sui Spring/Summer 2025 Lookbook. Excitingly, Garren used three new R+Co BLEU formulas including Ultra Dry Texture Spray, the brand’s latest hero product for full-on texture, shine and volume.
“This look is very cute, very Anna. She wanted it to be kind of ‘rocker,’ the way guys used to wear their hair, rolled forward,” said Garren. He added, “The clothes are very demure with delicate patterns, soft colors, lace and beautiful prints. The beauty look is a contradiction to the clothes – the makeup is avant-garde, and the hair is twisted onto the forehead. It’s a very cool look.”

Get the Look: The Brunette
- Start by letting the hair air dry until it’s 50-80% dry. Then, section the hair, with a triangle section at the top.
- Apply R+Co BLEU Essential Hair Tonic ($42.00) on the sides and back of the hair. Part the hair down the middle and do two loose braids, from below the ear, down.
- Then apply R+Co BLEU Root Booster Volume Spray ($42.00) and R+Co BLEU Essential Hair Tonic ($42.00) to the top section, and rough dry the hair with a blow dryer.
- Roll hair back with two small velcro rollers at the forehead to get texture in the hair.
- Diffuse the whole head, both the braids and the rollered section, until hair is thoroughly dry.
- Take out the braids from the sides/back of the hair and apply R+Co BLEU Optical Illusion Smoothing Oil ($59.00) to separate hair and enhance the natural, soft wave from the braids.
- Back comb the front/top section with a Mason Pearson brush, and spray in the new R+Co BLEU Ultra Dry Texture Spray ($49.00) for mega-watt volume, texture and touchable control.
- Wrap this section around your hand, loop and twist it into a figure 8 on the forehead. Loosen the front pieces a little, and secure it with bobby pins.
- To finish the look, spray R+Co BLEU Featherlight Hairspray ($46.00) just on the knot for light hold.
Get the Look: The Blonde
- Use a combination of the new R+Co BLEU F-Layer Detangling Mist ($42.00) to prep the hair and the new R+Co BLEU Root Booster Volume Spray ($42.00) in the front, triangle section. Apply R+Co BLEU Essential Hair Tonic ($42.00) on the sides and back sections.
- Then, blow hair out loosely to get volume and texture into the hair.
- Next, take the hair sectioned at the top and back and comb with a brush in a forward direction.
- Then rolled it over your hand, dip it down on the forehead and secure it with bobby pins.
- To finish, the look, use R+Co BLEU Cult Classic Flexible Hairspray($46.00) on the quiff, so the hair stays in place. For the back of the hair, comb through it and let it be natural.
