The Professional Beauty Association (PBA), whose mission is to advocate and fight for the rights and professionalism of the beauty industry, has announced its Board of Directors and Advisory Council, effective September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2027.
PBA is welcoming three new Advisory Council members, each from different sectors of the beauty industry. Each Advisory Council member plays a significant role in advancing the beauty industry while encouraging thought leadership with other volunteer leaders. The three new members include:
- Beauty Professional/NCA Advisory Council- Beth Minardi, Beth Minardi and Company of Houston, TX
- Distributor Advisory Council- Guy Lacey, Salon Services Pro, Inc. of Auburn, WA
- Salon/Spa Advisory Council- Chet Pope, Salon27 of Mesa, AZ
PBA is also welcoming back its re-elected members, whose “unwavering dedication to the industry and PBA has been instrumental in driving its continued success and growth,” according to a press release. Re-elected members for the 2024-2027 term are as follows:

The PBA Board of Directors oversees budgeting, endorsement of legislation, strategic planning, and industry-wide issues, while the Advisory Council takes an active role in the development of association programs and initiatives.
