Los Angeles’ newest luxury nail salon, Labo Beauté, opened in mid March of this year and is quickly establishing itself as the salon to visit. Founded by celebrity nail artist Lily Nguyen and entrepreneur Pauline Sayegh, Labo Beauté is redefining nail care by blending trendsetting artistry with indulgent spa services, creating an elevated, luxury experience that promises to be the ultimate destination for those seeking innovation and perfection in beauty.
First established in 2024, the salon was newly renovated as a state-of-the-art “labo” (or lab), the fusion of cutting-edge technology, luxurious design, and expert craftsmanship. The phyiscal space has been thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity while indulging clients in an environment of absolute comfort and refinement. The vibes are immaculate!

“At Labo Beauté, we don’t just focus on nails; we focus on the entire experience, making sure each client leaves feeling inspired and rejuvenated,” says founder Lily Nguyen. She adds, “our team’s dedication to precision and creativity allows us to deliver something truly unique to the beauty industry.”
Labo Beauté’s commitment to setting new standards in luxury nail care is evident in every aspect of the salon. From the moment clients walk through the doors, they are immersed in a world that blends modern elegance with artistic flair.

The salon offers a range of bespoke nail services, from trendsetting designs to indulgent spa treatments, all executed with the highest level of skill and attention to detail. The salon’s nail treatments incorporate advanced techniques and premium, cruelty-free products, ensuring that every service is not only luxurious but also high-quality and sustainable.
The Tease connected with Nguyen and she generously shared about the space, Labo Beauté Salon’s signature services and more. Scroll for our conversation.

The Tease: Congratulations on the newly renovated space! We were able to visit in person, and it’s stunning. Talk to us about the design! What was the inspiration? How long did it take to come together? Why now?
Lily Nguyen: Thank you! We wanted to create a space that felt both luxurious and welcoming—a true sanctuary for self-care. The design is inspired by modern elegance with soft, minimalist aesthetics that allow our work to shine. We incorporated natural elements and warm tones to create a relaxing yet sophisticated ambiance. The entire process took about eight months from concept to completion. We felt this was the perfect time for a refresh to align with the evolving beauty industry and our growing clientele.
Talk to us about Labo Beauté Salon’s nail treatments. How do they incorporate advanced techniques?
Nguyen: At Labo Beauté, we focus on providing high-end, innovative nail care that goes beyond aesthetics. We integrate cutting-edge techniques such as structured manicures for long-lasting wear, Japanese gel for superior nail health, and customized nail art using precision tools. Our team stays ahead of trends through continuous education, ensuring we offer the best in the industry while prioritizing nail health.
Why is it important that you use cruelty-free products? Is this from client demand?
Nguyen: Using cruelty-free products is a core value at Labo Beauté. Our clients care about sustainability and ethical beauty, and so do we. Beyond demand, we believe in providing services that align with a more conscious and responsible approach to beauty. By choosing cruelty-free, non-toxic products, we ensure our clients receive high-quality treatments without harming animals or exposing themselves to unnecessary chemicals.

It’s early days of this new space, but tell us about the biggest trends you’re seeing in terms of services being booked?
Nguyen: We’ve seen a growing demand for structured manicures, which focus on nail health and durability. Customized minimalistic designs, soft chrome finishes, and sheer jelly colors are also trending. Additionally, there’s been an increase in clients booking self-care packages that combine nail and skincare treatments, reflecting a shift toward a more holistic beauty experience.
What should your fellow nail pros expect to be big this year?
Nguyen: This year is all about elevated simplicity — think neutral tones with intricate detailing, micro-French manicures, and modern take on classic styles. There’s also a rise in bio-based gels and strengthening treatments that focus on nail wellness.
