Zoe Saldaña, long-time acclaimed actress, won her first Oscar last night in the Best Supporting Actress category for her amazing performance in the movie Emilia Pérez, becoming the first American of Dominican origin actress to win an Oscar.
Saldaña arrived at the award show in a maroon bubble-layered skirt in silk custom Saint Laurent dress and wearing a Cartier panther diamond collar, which her hairstylist Mara Roszak says called for loose-glamorous curls with the front tucked behind her ears.
Ahead, Roszak walks The Tease through the process to create the structured waves.
Get the Look:
- Roszak started by applying RŌZ Root Lift Spray to the roots and the Air Thickening Spray to damp mid-lengths and ends, with one pump of RŌZ Santa Lucia Styling Oil on ends for heat protection
- She then blowdried the hair with the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer.
- Then, Roszak set the hair in pin curls and spritzed a thin layer of RŌZ Air Thickening Spray over the top and used the Dyson Supersonic™ with Diffuser attachment to gently seal in the style and hold.
- Once pin curls were set, Roszak carefully removed the pins and gently brushed the hair out. Then added a couple of rows of The Covet & Mane Coveted Tape Extensions in Dubai and Portofino to add fullness.
- Using a 1-inch and a 1 ¼-inch curling iron, Roszak then curled sections of the hair, alternating between the two barrel sizes and rotating the direction of the curls to create a soft, natural look.
- To finish, she added one pump of RŌZ Santa Lucia Styling Oil, running it through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair to add shine and a subtle, piecey texture.
