Greta Lee may have been snubbed in the Best Actress category at this year’s Oscars but there’s a saying about living well being the best revenge… Her breezy Loewe dress (we see you, Danielle Goldberg) and slicked back, low pony hairstyle by hairstylist Takuya Yamaguchi suggest she’s more than fine.
Yamaguchi, known for editorial styles, used Olivia Garden styling tools to create Lee’s sleek, pulled-back style. He wanted to do something that would complement the glamour of the dress, while still keeping the final look cool and polished. Success!

Get the Look:
- Takuya started by defining a deep side part, next he blew out the face line and whole front hair to slick back using SuperHP Hair Dryer and Ceramic + Ion Thermal Hairbrush.
- Next he used the Titanium + Ion Flat Iron to keep it flatter around the face.
- He shaped the hair using his fingers and the CarbonLite Combs Metal Tail Comb to keep the intricate detail of the sleek style. Using a couple of clips around the face helped keep it nice and tight, while he worked on the rest of the hair into a low bun.
- Finally to finish the look, he used a spray all over and the SuperHP Hair Dryer with the diffuser to give it that extra hold.
