Celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan, already a living legend, has created another iconic haircut: White Lotus star Leslie Bibb’s “cunty little bob.” So perfectly named and undeniably good that Evan Ross Katz gave it the memecap treatment. (In 2025, there is no higher honor.)
With season 3 heating up, and Bibb getting her much-deserved flowers for her performance as “Independent” friend-of “Kate,” McMillan took to Instagram to post a behind-the-scenes video of him refreshing the cut.
The video has racked up more than 2 million views and generated hundreds of comments celebrating the look. Our favorite? Obviously the below.

Given the internet-breaking reaction, The Tease got in touch with McMillan directly and he graciously spilled on his relationship with Bibb, the cut itself, people’s response and way more.
To start, McMillan and Bibb have worked together for “years and years,” and McMillan’s frequent travel to Thailand partially inspired the chop. McMillan who is “very familiar with the weather,” cited the heat and Bibb having “a lot of hair, a lot of fine hair” as reasons for the bob. He adds, “the haircut was inspired by fashion, but we wanted it to be modern at the same time.”
Read on for a breakdown on the cut from McMillan!
Get the Look:
- “It’s a basic beauty school textbook bob. Horseshoe guideline at the nape of the neck.
- I call this a slightly above hairline bob, not exactly A-line but a square bob leaning slightly, ever-so, longer in the front.
- I like ZERO elevation. Blunt.
- Half-inch sections — CLEAN sections — are key.”

Noting the cut’s versatility, McMillan tells us it “has been so exciting to see the different ways she’s able to style the bob” on the show. He cautions that “product can weigh it down, whatever you use” and says that hairspray is his “best friend, go to and [his] superhero.”
