The models for Berlin-based Ottolinger’s SS25 show at Paris Fashion Week emerged from a giant beached shark unfazed, with places to go. Their hair, equally unbothered — big, blown out — screamed confidence.
According to key hair lead, celebrity hairstylist, Chris Appleton, “The inspiration for this look was channeling that iconic 90s supermodel glam to align with a very ‘cool girl’ collection — think Cindy Crawford.” He added, “The goal was to have the hair fall to the side and bounce as the models walked to add that extra hint of glamor. The style was sexy, sassy, and uplifting.”
Appleton, who’s also a Shark Beauty Global Ambassador, created the looks with wigs so that each girl would “have the same length and bounce but express their own unique personality with their hair color whether it was platinum, blonde, redhead, or brunette.”
