Joseph has worked on more than just music video sets, he has worked on TV sets, backstage at fashion shows, award shows prep, premieres and more. In other words, he’s a pro when it comes to working with celebrities on set.
Joseph joins Volume Up by The Tease to discuss his work with celebs in all capacities. For many of these celebs he does the upkeep on their hair monthly. He ran us through his experience and tips for life as a hairstylist on set as well as how he gets Cassie and Michelle Randolph’s signature blonde locks.

“Everyone sees color differently, so it’s always easier for me to be like, ‘bring me a picture’. And then I ask them ‘what do you like about this picture and what do you hate about this picture’.”
“I’ve been on many sets when we are doing something the artist doesn’t want and it messes up the entire day. It can screw up everything. My goal is to make the artist happy.”
“After that, everyone thought it was a wig. And I was like ‘No, no, no. I took time to color that hair. Like that’s her hair with extensions’.”
