Aaron Pierre
The actor and voice of young Mufasa in the latest Mufasa: The Lion King, Aaron Pierre, turned heads during Vanity Fair’s annual Oscars party because of his classic, gentleman ensemble. Phillips, his makeup artist, said she was inspired by his effort to bring back dressing up for the occasion, so she wanted him to look as clean and put together, as a gentleman would. Here’s how Phillips used Danessa Myricks Beauty products to achieve the timeless look.
Get the Look:
- To prep Pierre’s skin, Phillips tapped into her kit using staples from the Danessa Myricks Beauty collection, including the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder in a tinted shade, which is a holy grail in her grooming kit.
- She kept it clean and simple using a little mattifying water balm in the T-zone area, and the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder to even out the skin.
- To finish off, she also used the brand’s Yummy Skin Lift & Flex Concealer where needed, with a little added Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder.
