What a girl wants? Old Hollywood waves. What a girl needs? hairtalk Extensions. (Had to!)
For her recent surprise performance with fellow pop star Sabrina Carpenter, the iconic Christina Aguilera aka Xtina stunned in forever-long blonde waves thanks to the expert hands of Iggy Rosales. “Inspired by the elegance of classic Hollywood, I created a look that combines soft, voluminous waves with a hint of drama and sophistication,” said Rosales.
Opting for hairtalk extensions in colors 60A Light Blonde and 613 Platinum Blonde, Rosales added that he “achieved a stunning blend that enhances Christina’s natural beauty and elevates her stage presence.” We couldn’t agree more and are so thrilled to share that Rosales broke down the style for The Tease. Read on for a detailed how-to.
Get the Look:
- Extension Preparation
- Application Technique
- “Starting with a full head application, I carefully placed the extensions to maximize volume while ensuring seamless blending. I focused on creating even distribution around the crown and sides to achieve the desired balance and fullness. I layered the extensions strategically, placing more volume at the bottom to allow for a natural wave flow.”
- Styling Xtina’s Waves
- “I used a large-barrel curling iron to create soft, uniform waves, rolling sections away from the face for that timeless Hollywood effect. After the curls cooled, I gently brushed through them to transform them into smooth, cohesive waves. I applied a lightweight finishing spray to hold the waves in place without stiffness, maintaining a soft, touchable finish.”
- Finishing Touches
- “I added a touch of shine serum to accentuate the blonde tones and give the hair a reflective, high-gloss finish. I parted the hair slightly off-center for a classic look that enhances facial symmetry and complements Christina’s stage aesthetic.”
