With the arrival of their newest launch, Minerva Beauty is ensuring that shopping for salon furniture is a much more immersive experience for beauty professionals.
The salon and spa furniture manufacturer recently introduced 3D and Augmented Reality (AR) features on its website. By doing so customers can now explore Minerva’s growing 3D furniture catalog, view products from various different angles, and even see how they would look in their own space using AR.

With these innovative features, hairstylist and salon owners can select and visualize different configurations, colors, and finish options in real time. The 3D catalog currently features most styling chair models and shampoo systems, but will continue to expand with a growing number of styling stations being added. By integrating 3D imagery and AR, Minerva Beauty is streamlining the decision-making process so salon and spa owners can more confidently invest in new equipment.
How It Works
Customers can access augmented reality directly from the product image carousel on the Minerva Beauty product pages. Once the 3D model loads, they can rotate the product in any direction to view it from all angles, change colors and other options, then see the 3D rendering updates in real time.
Accessible on both mobile and desktop, the AR feature is incredibly easy to use:
- On a mobile device: Tap the cube icon in the top right of the 3D viewer and point the phone camera where the furniture should appear.
- On a laptop or desktop: Click the cube icon, then use a mobile device to scan the QR code. Tap the cube icon again and position the furniture in the desired space.
- Adjust placement using touch gestures and capture a photo to share or reference later.
