OPI has partnered with the team behind “Wicked” to bring you a nail collection inspired by the land of Oz. The OPI x Wicked collection includes 12 Nail Lacquer and GelColor shades with OPI Intelli-Gel Technology™, 9 long-wear Infinite Shine colors, and 4 xPRESS/ON press-on styles.
Shade names are inspired by the characters and world of Oz. Names leverage catchphrases from Elphaba, Glinda, and themes from Oz, and also have a touch of Ozian language like “thrillify” and “oz-mazing.”
To kick off the collection OPI hosted a launch event defying gravity at a New York City rooftop, Somewhere Nowhere. Cynthia Erivo, who stars in the upcoming film as Elphaba, was the guest of honor sharing with attendees what her on-screen character and this collection means to her.
