Beauty Gives Back is bringing together beauty industry leaders, respected artists, and innovative brands to support beauty professionals at all career stages. The one-day event aims to support beauty professionals at all career levels through development, networking, and connection.
Attendees will gain access to the tools, guidance, inspiration, knowledge, and motivation needed to succeed at every stage of their journey. Beauty Gives Back is presented by Daisie Foundation and Pink Pewter Foundation. Julie Hightower, founding Board member of the Daisie Foundation, and Mireya Villarreal, founder of the Pink Pewter Foundation, inaugurated the event in 2023 by coming together after partnering for many years with their non-profit organizations.
“Now in our second year, Beauty Gives Back will be bigger and better with more impact, inspiration and empowerment,” says Julie Hightower. Adding, “We are building on our strong foundation and providing development for the beauty community.”
Panelists from across the beauty industry and more will be giving back and sharing their achievements and their failures, their peaks, and valleys, in a straightforward, dynamic, no-nonsense way. Our speakers are not just sharing their expertise; they are leading a powerful movement. Their dedication and generosity in donating their time to mentor and uplift others is invaluable. This event offers attendees a unique opportunity to gain crucial insights from industry leaders who are committed to their success and growth,” says Mireya Villarreal. The confirmed list of speakers and panelists is astonishingly stacked, and includes Olivia Thompson, Erica Roberson, Beto Sanchez, Anna Manukyan, Nick Stenson, Dana Fountain, Gloria L. Proceeds from the Beauty Gives Back event will benefit beauty students, artists, cosmetologists, and barbers by way of grants awarded to applicants that demonstrate financial hardship preventing them from getting to the next level.
