Already known for their fun but practical Major Apron, HAIR Los Angeles and Daniel Moon are now partnering with shoe brand Reebok for the Major Reebook, a collection of colorful sneakers every hair pro should get their hands on.
The Major Reebok collection contains two different sneakers: the Daniel Moon Classic Leather Legacy Shoes and the Daniel Moon Club C Legacy Shoes. Made by hairdressers for hairdressers, they’re meant to provide wearers a way to show off their personality through bright colors and bold choices. Not to mention, both shoe options are appropriately adorned with the word “HAIR.”
Similar to the Major Apron, the Major Reebok collection is very meaningful to Moon and showcases his love for bright colors. “The name Major Reebok pays tribute to my past in the Marines,” he explains on Reebok’s site. “After my service, I had so much energy to practice self-expression through hair. Similarly to how I color hair, I selected colors for the shoes by using punchy colors and thinking about how the colors would move and attract the eyes.”
The Daniel Moon Classic Leather Legacy Shoes are a colorful, unique option of the classic sneaker. With shades of solar pink, pushy purple and switch blue, the Reeboks are inspired by Moon’s most popular punchy colors. Not to mention, the heel tab’s texture is even reminiscent of a shaved head. For $90, the shoes can be worn with either white fuzzy hair laces or pink classic laces.
Alternatively, the Daniel Moon Club C Legacy Shoes are a fun take on the OG Reeboks and mimic the transparent details of the clear vinyl Major Apron. With solar green colors paired with pink stitching and black accents, they’re the perfect salon conversation starter. At $100 a pair, the Reeboks come with either pink fuzzy hair laces or green classic laces.
Needless to say, if you’re a hairdresser looking to feel empowered by adding a little more color to your life, then the Major Reebok is for you!
