Each year, Wella presents the Beauty Envision Awards, a competition for salon professionals to showcase their talent and creativity for the next era of beauty. Hosted by Coty, the competition allows hair and nail professionals of all stages of their careers to enter for a chance to win a $5,000 Visa gift card, along with professional products from ProfessionalStore.com.
Because of the current pandemic, this year’s competition has gone completely digital. Salon pros used Instagram to enter and voting took place on BeautyEnvisionAwards.com. A judging panel of top industry professionals has now narrowed down the entries to select finalists for all twelve categories.
Here are the 2020 BEA finalists.
Natural Texture Artist
Finalists for Best Natural Texture Artist include Brianca Liggins, Akela Douglass and Alisha Moss.
US Color Artist of the Year
The finalists for US Color Artist of the Year are Jessica Phillips, Jess Walker and Emma Hancock.
Canadian Color Artist of the Year
Jerica Wentzell, Diane Gallant and Lauren Wilde are the finalists for Canadian Color Artist of the Year.
Editorial Artist
Finalists for Best Editorial Artist include Courteney Brown, Jamie Wiley and London Michalske.
Creative Artist
Keisha Mines, Nico Norris and Kelsey Higginbotham are the finalists for Best Creative Artist.
Men’s Artist
The finalists for Best Men’s Artist are Laylan Saieed, Rafael Ortiz and José M. Guzmán Capó.
Total Transformation
The finalists for the Total Transformation award are Danny Lozada, Jack Martin and Adrean de la Parra.
Bridal Hair Artist
Angelica Mirela Tanta, Svetlana Kindiakova and Sara Ortega are the finalists for Best Bridal Artist.
Nail Artist
Finalists for Best Nail Artist include Ashton Harlan, Amy Hwang and Jessica Laster.
Future Star
The finalists for the Future Star award are Courtney Crawford, Kenzie Wolf and Brianica McCutcheon.
Elite Artist
Serena Russell, Jamie Pierce-Elwell and Omar Antonio are the finalists for the Elite Artist award.
Salon Team
Finalists for Best Salon Team include Valvano Salon, Harlot Salon and Goldie x Bob Hair Salon
