A big congratulations is in order for IGK. The popular haircare brand recently took home the award for “Brand of the Year in Haircare” at the 2024 Ulta Field Leadership Conference.
For those unaware, the Ulta Field Leadership Conference is an annual, internal event led by Ulta CEO Dave Kimball, Chief Operating Officer Kecia Steelman, and Chief Merchandising Officer Monica Arnaudo, which invites brands to come together to celebrate “The Joy Beauty Brings.” At this conference, over 2,000 Ulta beauty team members from 1,350 Ulta locations across the country join to educate and unite together.
As for why IGK was deserving of this incredible honor? According to Shianna Davey, Vice President of Merchandising—Hair Care, Color, and Personal Care Appliances at Ulta Beauty, “ “IGK has delivered first-to-market innovation and has executed an array of fun collaborations. IGK is a standout brand that uses social platforms to educate guests.”
Sharing her excitement about the award, IGK Brand President Anne-Cecile Brilland said, “We are delighted to share this celebration with Ulta, a partner that shares the same passion as IGK: engaging with clients, leading with education and digital, and bringing disruption to the Haircare category. We keep it fresh! This award is the recognition of a fantastic partnership with Ulta, and we are grateful for their support.”
